eClear is now a strategic partner of Thomson Reuters. Thomson Reuters is one of the leading providers of information services for businesses. Its products include highly specialised information-based software solutions and tools for legal, tax, accounting and compliance professionals. As part of joint sales activities, various eClear product solutions for sales tax automation (VAT Suite) and import customs processing (Custom Suite) will complement Thomson Reuters solution portfolios in the future. In addition, the Canadian media group will be able to enter into stronger marketing cooperations with SMEs and e-commerce companies.

With VATRules, eClear offers a VAT database, a complete solution for the One-Stop-Shop (OSS+) as well as the CheckVAT ID for checking VAT identification numbers. In addition, the Custom Suite includes a database of all current customs tariffs (CustomsTariffs), a simplified connection to the Import-One-Stop-Shop for non-EU merchants (IOSS+) as well as the integration of national postal services in the e-commerce system via Postal technology. All applications apply to all B2C retail shops across Europe.
